I'd suggest you read this short text if you have some time to lose. It was an exchange on #stormtards between me (BadFurDay) and EpochWolf about whether animals are worth more than humans or not.

Yup, you indeed just read what you think you did: Epoch thinks it's perfectly fine for us to kill animals, and more generally use the planet as we will, because it is just a resource (I'd guess his reasoning means it was given to us by God and we don't care how much we abuse it).
Do all you want to save the planet and the future generations, there will still be some assholes like Epoch to continue wasting it and kill all your efforts. Enough of them.

I didn't have much respect for Epoch at all, but I've just lost what little respect I still had towards him.

Live your own spiritual life, fine, I don't care. Have it interfere with other's lives, that's not fine. That's the clear limit between religion and sectarianism.

You might think I'm the asshole for posting this log, fine, think whatever you want, but seriously, that was too shocking to me not to share it.
